The Square Enix released a new trailer for Final Fantasy XIII-2 , called Battle in Valhalla , which should also be part of the opening game. There are some spoilers in it, nothing too new or compromising on the news earlier, but players who want to save all the surprises, this paragraph shall not pass .
The video shows Lightning, the protagonist of Final Fantasy XIII , in an intense struggle against his rival, Caius. After the events of the first game, the warrior went on to defend the invisible world of Valhalla as a guardian of the Goddess Etro. However, her sister Serah does not know his whereabouts.The main character of Final Fantasy XIII-2 is Serah, which launches a quest to find his sister with the help of a young man named Noel. The boy is a time traveler from an apocalyptic future, who somehow knows where Lightning, guiding her to her sister.
The pair ventured into several time travel, sometimes rediscovering characters from the first game aged or visiting places that look completely different in relation to this. Final Fantasy XIII-2 will be released on January 31, 2012 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 .
