Ricoh announced yesterday (15) in Japan CX6 the launch of the camera, a new model that has a 10.7x optical zoom (28-300 mm) and a new auto focus system, capable of processing image focus by only 0.1 second, improving the image capture sudden.The camera CX6 is a direct upgrade of the model CX5. It has an improved hardware and software. Its VGA LCD screen size is 3 inches, features high brightness level, and is approximately 1.7x brighter than the previous model, giving better visibility of information on the screen outdoors.
The Ricoh CX6 also has the function of automatic adjustment of brightness based on the brightness level of the image captured by the camera lens. With this the user minimizes the loss of visibility that can occur during changes of environments (internal and external, natural and artificial light). Another interesting new feature is the "zoom assist monitor," which projects a small image on the LCD to a better environment. The camera also has features specific for those who want to record videos. New modes of shutter speed and aperture allows shooting with a greater wealth of detail, and a dedicated button for video recording was also added in the new model. A wide range of functions such as zoom while filming and auto focus are available in video recording mode.
Ricoh announced that the CX6 is the compact camera that will become the everyday tool for most users. Available in three colors (black, silver and pink), has no price or release date announced.
