Acer reveals Iconia Tab A200 with Ice Cream Sandwich

The Acer revealed last week its new tablet model, the A200 Iconia Tab. With 10.1-inch (and resolution of 1280 x 800), the device will hit the market running Android Ice Cream Sandwich and a great dual-core 1.2GHz Nvidia Tegra 2. The model is already being manufactured with Android 3.2 (Honeycomb), but according to Acer, will receive the upgrade to the Ice Cream Sandwich in January.


According to the manufacturer, the model is designed to market entry and aims to offer a good amount of features for a low price. Among the various hardware resources, for example, a USB 2.0 port, where you can connect a keyboard, mouse, joystick, etc. USB drive - which can be very helpful with the arrival of Android 4.0.

The Iconia Tab A200 has a 2.0 megapixel webcam dedicated for video calls and, of course, there is a proposal for you to release the photographer in you. The tablet also has microSD card slot and there are two options for internal storage space: 8 or 16GB.

While Android 4.0 only reach the new Iconia Tab A200 in January 2012, the Honeycomb tablet version is interesting. Your Acer Ring interface brings a cool concept of user interaction on the screen and runs off a little from the conventional market.

Acer says the battery in the new Iconia safe setting for up to 8 hours of continuous use with videos. The price of the new tablet should hit the $ 299.
