Rumors point to the new iPhone 4G in 2012

Many of us believed in the launch of an iPhone 5 with LTE earlier this month. The most I got was an iPhone 4S "at speeds comparable to 4G" AT & T U.S., made possible thanks to an upgrade of the antenna HSDPA. However, several sources have spread rumors that we will have even a new iPhone 4G in 2012.Currently, the U.S. operator Verizon is rolling out its 4G network based on LTE, and its direct competitors, Sprint and AT & T, have also launched their answers. Sprint tried to launch its WiMax network, but after unsuccessful attempts to settle with this technology, migrated to LTE in the end, this being his only option in 4G. With this, we currently have about 35 LTE networks scattered around the planet, and Apple understands that at this time, the technology is not widespread enough to start a production of 4G LTE phones.

On the other hand, analysts are expecting the expansion of 4G networks from Verizon, which will happen over the year 2012, besides the growth of the AT & T and the launch of LTE network from Sprint, which should happen in the middle of 2012. In this future scenario, Apple could see enough reasons to start looking at the Internet market in 4G as more promising.Apple is not the only one who is attracted to this expansion of 4G networks. Research In Motion and Sony Ericsson should also provide products with LTE soon. All also note the performance with the launch of HTC, which was the first to jump in the 4G market.

Another concern was Apple for the defects that the first 4G chips could cause the device, especially in relation to power consumption. Apple defaults to delivering quality products to its customers, and it is understandable to postpone the launch until LTE is consolidated, providing more stability and more consistency in the market.

To prove this line of reasoning, some Internet rumors say that the HTC Thunderbolt has a bad battery life, blaming design shared with the antenna for 3G/4G networks. Apple wants to avoid the same problems and continue to offer quality products.
