There are some rumors that comment about a possible update to be released by Sony , which make it possible to use the laptop PS Vita as an extension of the PlayStation 3 . More specifically the laptop would run all the games on PS3 remotely. But Sony has just officially deny this rumor.
"This information is a mistake," said Yoshio Matsumoto, senior vice president of Sony Computer Entertainment , during an interview with journalist Munechika Nishida. "The compatibility of the game will be specified in its packaging, as usual." Muneki Shimada, the chief of the Division 2 Software , agreed and said that the games are possible to take advantage of remotely need to support a system API.
For now, only Sony showed a demo of how the Remote Play with the PS Vita during the Tokyo Game Show this year, with Killzone 3 . However, did not specify when users can use the system.
